

According to the American Council on Exercise, Boot camp workouts remain amongst the top 5 preferred workouts, because they provide a total-body workout that's varied, fun and challenging. Up to 600 calories can be burned during a boot camp session, which is obviously going to facilitate weight loss. But in addition to a great cardiovascular workout, muscles are strengthened through high- and low-intensity exercises such as pushups, squats and lunges. You don't typically experience significant muscle fitness benefits in other aerobic exercises.
What is it?
Lafemme Fitness Boot Camp is a six-week program of fitness instruction with the option of individual nutritional coaching and meal planning. Lafemme Fitness owner Monique Hollowell, B.S. CPT is proud to bring the Lafemme Fitness Bootcamps program to the Sacramento Area. Each day, camp will be 45 minutes in length, motivating and inspiring, and begin promptly at the scheduled time.
How are we different?
You will receive fitness assessments, fitness guidance, educational handouts and nutritional education (optional) to reach your individual goals. Additionally, all classes are lead by Master Instructors and Certified Personal Trainers who are committed to your success. This program offers the opportunity to meet new friends whose health and fitness goals are similar to yours.
What if I am not physically fit?
NO ONE will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Men and women of all ages (14 and older) and abilities are welcome to participate. We are here to support you and to ensure that everyone feels they are a part of the team. Each week will increase slightly in intensity.
What types of exercises are included in the program?
Exercises include: calisthenics, short distance running/walking, body weight resistance training, strength training, jumping rope, crunches, obstacle courses, hill running/walking, hiking, agility and power drills, sports drills, medicine ball work, stair climbing, partner drills, and much more!

How often will we meet*?
Participants will meet every Monday through Friday for 45 minutes during the six-week program. We offer a two, three or four-day per week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time. *Some camps may differ.
